Inner Room Privacy Notice

Inner Room is a mobile application provided by 24-7 Prayer.

The processing of personal data through the Inner Room app is governed by the 24-7 Prayer Privacy Policy, which is the primary privacy policy for all 24-7 Prayer digital services. Where this notice and the 24-7 Prayer Privacy Policy address the same subject matter, the 24-7 Prayer Privacy Policy will apply.

By using the Inner Room mobile application, personal data will be processed as described in this notice and in the 24-7 Prayer Privacy Policy.

1. Information we Collect through the App

1.1 Account and contact information

Inner Room does not require you to create an account and we do not ask for your name, email address or
phone number in order to use the app.

However, when you use the app we collect limited technical and usage data, which may include:

  • app and device information (such as app version and operating system)
  • app usage and interaction data (for example which features are used and when)
  • technical identifiers used to support app analytics and performance monitoring

This information helps us understand how the app is used and to improve stability, performance, and user
experience.

1.2 User generated prayer content

Inner Room allows you to create and manage personal prayer entries and requests within the
app. The text you enter is stored securely and used only to provide the core functionality of the
app. Prayer content is not used for advertising or marketing purposes.
As prayer content may sometimes include personal information about health, personal
circumstances, or other sensitive matters, we encourage users to avoid including sensitive
personal information about other individuals unless they have permission. If such information
is included, we may remove or redact personal information relating to those individuals when
responding to data protection requests in order to protect their privacy.

1.3 Device identifiers

The app generates a device identifier so that app functionality, settings and analytics can
operate correctly on your device. This identifier does not include your name, email address or
contact details.

1.4 App analytics and diagnostics

We collect limited analytics and technical diagnostics to understand how the app is used and
to improve performance. This may include information such as:

  • device type and operating system
  • app version
  • feature usage
  • error reports or crash diagnostics

Analytics data does not include personal prayer text, prayer titles, free form notes or other user generated content. Analytics services may be provided by third-party providers such as Microsoft App Center (or similar analytics services). Mobile platform providers such as Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) may also process limited technical information about app installations, updates and device compatibility in accordance with their own privacy policies.

1.5 Feedback and support

The app includes a feedback feature that allows you to send comments or suggestions. Any information you provide will be used to respond to your request and improve the app. We encourage you not to include sensitive personal information in feedback messages.

2. How we Use the Information

We use the information collected through the Inner Room app for the following purposes:

  • providing and operating the app
  • allowing users to create and manage personal prayers
  • delivering guided prayers curated by 24-7 Prayer
  • understanding how app features are used
  • reviewing feedback submitted by users to improve the app
  • identifying and resolving technical issues
  • improving app stability and usability
  • responding to support requests

We do not use data gathered through Inner Room for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. How your Data Is Stored and Protected

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data
processed through the Inner Room app. This may include:

  • encryption of stored data where applicable
  • Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel and systems
  • Logs and monitoring systems do not store user-generated prayer text and are designed
    to prevent unauthorized access.

Third-party analytics and infrastructure providers are subject to contractual obligations to
protect personal data.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Users can delete their personal data using the “Delete My Data” feature within the app or by
contacting us. When you use this feature, your personal data will be removed from your device
and our active systems.

Feedback you have submitted to us will not be deleted when you use the Delete My Data
feature, as it is processed separately to help us improve the app.

Analytics data may be retained in aggregated or anonymized form even after personal prayer
content is deleted, for security and operational purposes.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal data. We may share limited personal data with trusted service
providers who support:

  • app hosting
  • analytics
  • diagnostics
  • error monitoring
  • infrastructure provision

These providers act on behalf of 24-7 Prayer and are not permitted to use the data for their own

6. Links to Other Websites

Inner Room may contain links to external websites or services. Because we do not operate these sites,
we recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any third-party services you visit.

7. Children

Because some prayer alerts or content may relate to current events that could be distressing, we
recommend that no child under 13 should use this app without the permission of a parent or guardian.

8. Your Data Protection Rights

Your rights under UK data protection law, including rights of access, correction, deletion and objection,

9. Changes to this Notice

We may update this privacy notice from time to time to reflect changes in the app or meet legal
